Source register
Only approved, attributable sources enter the platform.
Publicly visible does not automatically mean reusable. Our ingestion layer refuses a source until its collection method, publisher identity and commercial-reuse rights are documented.

Checks are not releases
The active Heritage Fund dataset is published quarterly. FundedSpend checks the official 360Giving Registry every week for a newly licensed publisher file. A weekly check does not make an unchanged award record new, and we display the publisher's data-through date separately from our latest successful check.
Record links and dataset provenance
The current Heritage CSV supplies the Heritage Fund homepage in its Data Source field for every record rather than a unique award-page link. FundedSpend therefore carries the exact licensed dataset URL separately and does not manufacture project deep links.
Decision pages remain linked-only
The National Lottery Heritage Fund also publishes decision pages on its website. Those pages are useful source links, but the website's ordinary terms do not provide the same reusable dataset licence as the official open-data file. We do not copy their content into the catalogue unless the publisher supplies explicit reuse permission or an applicable open licence.
What we exclude
- Sources with unclear or prohibited commercial reuse.
- Data obtained by bypassing authentication, CAPTCHAs or technical restrictions.
- Competitor databases, copied editorial content, photographs, logos and protected documents.
- Personal contact details where organisation-level information is sufficient.
Licence and terms status are re-reviewed before activation and after a material publisher change.
