All Saints Haggerston, a Living Heritage of Welcome.

All Saints Haggerston’s heritage is at risk from persistent roof defects, an unsustainable financial model, an ageing congregation, and limitations in using the space to meet community needs. The PCC is committed to securing the building’s future by addressing urgent issues now and planning for long-term sustainability. This resilience project will deliver essential preparatory works for a major capital repair programme, strengthening our capacity, governance, and financial planning. We will work with community partners to design inclusive, creative engagement that reconnects local people with the heritage of our Grade II listed church. Through a series of engagement activities we will create greater connections between our wider community and the heritage of the building, establishing a sense of continuity and connection between past and present communities. This research-led exhibition project will explore the history of the building, employing engaging artistic and creative methods to connect with hard-to-reach audiences.
