Museums And Archives
Suffolk Archives aims to support the community to uncover and amplify the often-overlooked stories of people with lived experience of disabilities, both in the past and present. Through reimaging the stories in our archives and the collection of lived experiences, the project will highlight the significant contributions of people with lived experience of disability in Suffolk. The project will encourage people to have their say through co-creation of an exhibition at The Hold and countywide public programming, making them accessible and enjoyable for all. The project will also support our collections, building and service to become more accessible.
