We require Welsh Water to reconnect the Cottage to mains water. We've previously paid them for a quotation for the public highways work that is exclusively carried out by them. We will also: Employ a plumber to run water pipes from the mains into the cottage and to install internal taps and water heater and outdoor tap, so we can more easily prepare refreshments, wash dishes, clean the cottage and uphold hygiene standards. Hire an electrician to install two electric radiators, additional power sockets and external emergency light. Purchase base units, sink, taps and tiles to create a small kitchen area. Carry out updates consisting of purchasing tools and materials to fit loft insulation, lay new carpet, hang new curtains and paint internal walls. Upgrade our current seating with waterproof, lightweight, stacking armchairs. Purchase a recommended 13A rated fire extinguisher and accompanying safety signage.
