We will undertake strategic curatorial work to safeguard our collection for the future by professionally cataloguing the uncatalogued items, with an immediate focus on our 500+ items of British comic art and recent acquisitions from 2020-present. This will enable better use of the collection by partners, researchers, the public, and the professional and emerging artist community; better use of it for exhibitions at the museum to alleviate bringing loans in; and benefit from its commercial potential including touring, events, and merchandising.
