Cirencester Churchyard Path Project

Cirencester Churchyard Path Project Our project will restore a former medieval road adjacent to a Grade 1 listed building and connecting the churchyard to the historic Market Place via a paved courtyard. The path and courtyard are in extremely poor condition and there are health and safety concerns. Improving them will improve access for people with mobility problems, as well as enhancing a significant site adjacent to the restored Market Place. Lighting will be improved, (and will take into account the needs of wildlife such as peregrine falcons) and a bin store created elsewhere in the churchyard removing unsightly bins from the courtyard; this will additionally remove a potential fire hazard to the church.
