Museums And Archives
Our project will prepare Shire Hall Museum for an economically viable future focused on the needs of our visitors and community. We will do this through the following: • Undertake visitor research to better understand our visitors and non- visitors and their expectations and needs • Produce a new business plan having explored new operating models and ways to attract audiences both in person and digitally. • Create a marketing and PR plan that will enable growth and help us connect with more diverse audiences so that the stories we tell can have a wider reach. • Upgrade our website to interact effectively with our back office providing more opportunities to develop digital content with greater accessibility and integrated customer relations management. • Expand our community engagement offer focusing on engaging younger generations with learning about the importance of social justice, growing our volunteer workforce and developing community co-creation opportunities.
