Delia Derbyshire Day 10th anniversary project

This project celebrates this small cultural heritage organisation on its 10th anniversary and the communities who drive and take part in our work, with opportunities to interact with electronic music heritage. This investment allows us to consolidate our achievements and provide evidence which will strengthen our profile and endurance of our organisation’s legacy with consultancy, training, events and inspiring online content. Interacting with Delia Derbyshire's and DD Day's heritage, multi-media outputs will be produced/shared, empowering and inspiring now. A team of younger volunteers will present Delia Derbyshire Day 2025 event in Manchester (home of DD Archive) where the public can interact with the heritage. Legacy is organisational sustainability and new digital heritage that lives beyond the project, involving and representing a wider range of people in heritage. We are pleased to have survived the last decade and look forward to identifying how we can best be of service in future.
