Enfield’s heritage remains accessible, valued, relevant and sustainable. That Enfield’s natural and social heritage is not forgotten - from its landscapes and parks at risk to historical objects and civic architecture – as we will bring it all to life for primary school children; through curriculum based resources packs, handling collections, site visits and then celebrated through a family festival. A joined-up borough wide curriculum-based heritage education offer developed in partnership with Museum of Enfield, Forty Hall, Enfield Archaeological Society, Royal Small Arms Factory, Whitewebbs Transport Museum, Enfield Society, Friends of Parks Groups and Primary Schools that will in turn contribute to their organisational resilience. The breakdown of obstruction to heritage access by our investment and development of a range of volunteering opportunities that provide free skills development and CV enhancement via project partners that ensure everyone can explore Enfield's heritage, regardless of background or personal circumstances.
