Ensuring Sustainability for Poole Museum

Through the appointment of an interim change director and a package of supporting consultancies contributing expertise and capacity, this project will mitigate the emergent risks (described elsewhere) to the success of Poole Museum’s capital project at a critical point in the investment cycle, ensuring it can meet its vision, mission and core objectives. This project will ensure: - the museum is suitably resourced with freedom to use to best effect - a more secure and sustainable earned income and subsidy revenue base; - identify future capital and revenue external funding opportunities; - an adaptable ‘can do’ culture’; - the development of new services and partnerships as well as maintaining existing; - the museum meets and exceeds targets for audience development; - the Museum’s improved cultural standing and reputation in the conurbation and regionally; - meaningful engagement that makes a difference to the community and visitors that better meets people’s needs.
