FC: Past, Present, and Future

‘FC: Past, Present, and Future’ has been developed in collaboration with fans, residents, and community-focused organisations with a purpose of using the club’s twenty-year Challenge Cup winning anniversary as a catalyst for delivering heritage activities that fundamentally support improved social and economic outcomes for vulnerable, marginalised residents in Hull. With a purpose of ‘Celebrating the Past’, ‘Being in the Present’, and ‘Looking to the Future’, the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund will empower Hull FC Community Foundation to (1) create safe, inclusive opportunities for Hull FC fans and those with a wider interest in the sport to access, learn from, and enjoy memorabilia, (2) digitise relevant memorabilia, making it more accessible for future generations, (3) inspire more individuals to access accredited and non-accredited training and development programmes to begin their journeys as volunteers, and (4) use heritage activities as a vehicle for improving local residents health and wellbeing.
