Historic Buildings

Fortifying the Future

Building on our past achievements, we want to secure the future of Snodhill Castle. We’ll do so by putting in place infrastructure and resources that will achieve a resilient, energised trust capable of sustaining a long term, holistic programme of research, exploration, conservation and engagement activity that will bring the castle’s unique heritage to a wider audience, both generational and geographical, and inspire them to be part of its discovery and participate in its care. With a growing interest in the history of castles of the Marches, the Snodhill project will help lead and advance this wider aspiration. Working with new and existing partners in the fields of heritage, tourism, education and research, Snodhill will be an exemplar and help lead the way.
