Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust (BCHT) aims to build on the progress made under the previous NLHF Resilience grant and secure the long-term sustainability of the Trust. Over the past two years, BCHT has successfully grown its education and events programme, expanded group visits, and strengthened its commercial revenue streams. However, rising costs and the need for continued investment in organisational infrastructure, means that financial sustainability is still some years away. This project will: Continue the strong progress made to strengthen BCHT’s financial sustainability. Build staff capacity and capability in fundraising, marketing, and group travel development. Enhance visitor engagement and accessibility through improved marketing, educational projects and lifelong learning opportunities. Raise awareness of the Buxton Crescent Visitor Experience increasing visitor numbers. In addition, we will develop BCHT’s role in Buxton’s cultural and economic landscape, ensuring that the Crescent remains a thriving community asset.
