Historic Buildings
The tiled roof over the chancel of All Saints' Church in Gazeley has failed and leaks are putting at risk the rare and nationally significant carvings on the chancel ceiling. To make the roof watertight again, the tiles need to be completely replaced. Our principal aim is therefore to safeguard this magnificent Grade 1 listed building and the treasures within it. This will benefit not only our regular congregation and the wider community in the village, of which the Church is the focal point, but will also enable us to attract more visitors and to provide an educational resource for academics, local schools and history societies and many others.
