#Grow: Volunteering at Hampshire Cultural Trust

Our goal is to create fulfilling volunteering experiences through culture that enrich and transform lives. We want to develop an exceptional volunteering experience from the prototypes we have trialled, enhancing volunteer communication, management, learning and recognition. We will create multiple new pathways into volunteering, linking volunteering with HCT’s community and partner programmes, and devising onward routes to employment. We aim to attract new volunteers from under-represented groups, with a support programme that increases access and participation. We will broaden the definition of volunteering, creating original opportunities to get involved in heritage that align with volunteers’ resources and personal goals. The legacy will be an innovative sustainable volunteering programme which we will drive forward with our fundraising and partnerships. We will share our learnings in the open and support other organisations to renew their volunteering programmes, so that collectively we build a volunteer workforce that is fit for the future.
