Heritage Enterprise - Llwyd Mansion - Framing the Future

The Framing the Future Project will remove Llwyd Mansion from the Heritage at Risk Register and deliver a vibrant new use for Oswestry Town Centre. The Tourist Information Centre will occupy accessible ground and first floors, with visitors able to learn about this nationally important building and its restoration along with the ability to purchase locally produced bespoke goods. The upper floor will enable visitors to stay in high quality holiday accommodation, much needed in the town centre. We will engage our community through activities, events and interpretation designed to bring the heritage of Llwyd Mansion and Oswestry to life. We will build the capacity and skills of Oswestry Town Council and our stakeholders, ensuring we can develop our role as custodians to Oswestry’s heritage. The building will be an exemplar of heritage led regeneration, building on recent work through the HSHAZ and a catalyst for further high street regeneration.
