Holy Trinity Church, Thrussington - Tower Relaunch 2027

Through this project, the PCC of Holy Trinity Church, Thrussington, aims to secure the long-term future of the church. This will be achieved by addressing urgent structural issues, particularly the severely weathered stonework of the 14th-century tower. By conserving this historic Grade II* listed building, we’ll safeguard a significant piece of local heritage and ensure it continues to serve as a valued community asset. The project will also deepen engagement with the church’s history by developing interpretation materials based on local research and by creating new opportunities for use of the space. By 2027, on the 150th anniversary of the last major restoration, we aim to celebrate not only the renewal of the building, but also its role for community, education and heritage activities. The project will safeguard the physical structure, currently on the Heritage at Risk Register, and enhance its role as a focal point of village life
