Historic Buildings

Hoxton 200

Our Grade II* listed building and activities within it are at risk. We are on the Heritage at Risk Register (HARR), Category C. Beginning in 2026 – our bicentenary year – this project will identify the solution to the HARR-identified ‘slow decay’ and set the church on an achievable course to repair and renew our building, enhance our sustainability and cement our role as a community asset. To do this we will: o Prepare for the major repair project, both in terms of design and planning and by building our organisational capacity and resilience o Identify options for improved spatial use (to increase income whilst maintaining spiritual and community mission) o Involve our community in shaping our plans for the future o Research and document our built and social heritage o Deliver activities that build community engagement with our heritage o Test and pilot potential partnerships and activities
