#HP ABC Future Heritage

As one of the first round of Heritage Places, Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon (ABC) Borough Council would like to undertake a development phase, identifying the needs of the sector, engaging communities in priority setting and establishing a vision and strategy for the roll out of the scheme over the next 10 years. We are rightly proud of our extraordinary heritage, which embraces so many things: science, history, architecture, literature, art, music and whilst Council has been proactive in gathering intelligence about issues on the ground, particularly within the recent bid for City of Culture, we acknowledge that there are issues affecting the sector that we don’t fully understand and that engagement and consultation with key players in the heritage arena can be of benefit as we seek to shape the medium - long term approach and opportunity afforded by Heritage Places.
