#HP Embedding Resilience

Embedding Resilience will build the capacity of Torquay Museum to secure sustainable ways forward. This project will do two things: 1. Embed the changes that are taking place as part of our Groundwork to Resilience project; 2. Initiate and test a pilot programme for improving our standard way of operating to extend partnership working in the Torbay area. The primary need to fulfil these objectives is to recruit two project posts with support for necessary administrative underpinning. The posts will achieve different objectives: 1. A secondment from Torbay Council operated Torre Abbey to address the clear gap in our collections management capability and our operational delivery; 2. A new volunteer co-ordinator role to allow us to implement the audience development plan to ensure that we are able to recruit, train, develop and maintain appropriate levels of staffing through a new set of activities focused on outreach, wider engagement and collaboration.
