#HP THP Heritage & Design team core staff

Through this project, we want to deliver the first 20 months of the Torbay Heritage Place programme delivery phase with a focus on Torbay’s amazing historic buildings, public spaces, designed gardens and landscapes. It will put in place the staff team that we need to support our local communities and partner organisations to actively participate in caring for, enjoying and understanding the heritage on our doorstep. It will enable us to develop and deliver a pipeline of projects that will restore and enhance our heritage assets and ensure more people benefit from them. It will give us the capacity to support colleagues to better care for the heritage assets owned by Torbay Council and to activate the potential of heritage across a range of services. This work will help partner organisations and local people to gain skills for the future and embed good conservation practice within the Council.
