Let's Not Forget - A Walk in the Past
We want to create an innovative Augmented Reality (AR) experience, bringing Luton's rich local heritage to life in an engaging format. This interactive trail will guide participants through key heritage sites in the Dallow area of Luton, where the organisation has proudly been based since 1986. A collaboration with residents, schools, community groups, and individuals who may not normally learn about local heritage. This will be achieved by spotlighting the diverse history and cultural landmarks often overlooked by marginalised communities. This immersive project is not just a one-time experience but a lasting celebration of our heritage. Using Augmented Reality technology, the trail will foster a deeper connection to local history and encourage community involvement. Local artists will contribute lasting visuals, creating a legacy that will endure for future generations. This project is designed to ensure that Luton's heritage is appreciated and passed down through this economically accessible and future-proofed tool.
