Our Heritage project envisions Little Germany as the Destination it was always meant to be – Bradford’s Cultural Gateway. At the very heart of our city, Little Germany stands as a living testament to creativity, commerce and community – a place where architecture tells stories of ambition, artistry and resilience. Over the next five years, we will unite custodians of our heritage – from local residents and property owners to cultural organisations and grant funders – to celebrate and safeguard this extraordinary district. Together, we will restore and reimagine 30 Chapel Street, support the regeneration of vital historic spaces, and champion the social and built heritage that defines our shared identity. Our mission is not just to preserve the past but to inspire the future, ensuring Little Germany continues to thrive as a vibrant, welcoming Destination where history, culture and innovation meet for generations to come.
