We want to secure its future for our community, making it more resilient by undertaking key pieces of work to strengthen our adaptability, governance, planning processes and capacity to generate income. Through expert advice, we will find ways to make the most of the historic building, fulfilling its potential, improving accessibility and reducing its environmental impact. Building on recent work to strengthen local engagement, new partnerships will bring people together to share their stories through exhibitions, enlivened permanent displays and an accessible outdoor space. In this way, we will look to ensure its future as a highly valued community resource, known and appreciated by more people across the Borough of Broxbourne and beyond. By building our capacity while extending our outreach, we will find a way for the museum to not only survive but thrive.
