My Must Farm

The ‘My Must Farm’ project will have a significant impact on how Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery (PMAG) connects archaeology collections with the wider public. With the Must Farm archive at its heart, the project will enable shared activities with communities to document, interpret, test ideas and display collections over a period of two years. The process will involve a carefully planned communications and evaluation strategy to enhance engagement and learning throughout the duration, and end with a methodology tool kit for future community co-creation. Outcomes will include a new permanent display of prehistory collections, updated interpretation including inspirational AV experiences, a new school session, and an accessible digital catalogue. We believe this project will attract further significant funding for development of the Archaeology Gallery, more digital and exciting visitor experiences and future sustainability of the Peterborough Archaeology Archives as a centre for research, knowledge production, sharing and public engagement.
