#Natur Restoring Plas Gunter Gardens
We plan to reunite Plas Gunter Mansion with the land which was once its gardens for the benefit of everyone in our community. The land, which is currently unused and unloved, will be restored as a wonderful place for nature. This will improve the quality of the environment by planting indigenous species and wildflower areas to support local wildlife, encouraging pollinators and their predators. Activity using the gardens will be community-led, and delivered in partnership with local groups. It will include volunteering opportunities for local people to enhance wellbeing; community food growing; community archaeology projects; and educational projects. It will provide a much-needed place for people to come together to connect with others while also providing areas for quiet reflection.
