Museums And Archives
Petersfield Museum and Art Gallery (PMAG, or the Museum) is at risk. Our present business model is unsustainable and, despite making significant cuts to overheads over the last few months, we will run out of operational money within the next year unless we create a new, sustainable model. By 2030 we want to see the Museum thriving and financially stable, with a focus on deepening the relevance of the Museum's buildings and programme to today’s, and tomorrow's, audiences. Through this project we will: Explore all options and create a sustainable strategic plan for the future, informed by a business plan, a funding and finance model, and a visitor, volunteer and community engagement plan. • Better understand the potential, limitations and opportunities to deliver benefits for and engage with our local and wider communities. • Map the skills, capacity, resource and funding we require to deliver this new business imperative.
