Picturedrome - Arts & Heritage
Picturedrome Glos CIC would like to raise the necessary funds in order to better understand the 1922 constructed cinema premises (Grade ll Listed) that we have an opportunity to purchase. In order to do this the immediate and essential Project is to employ appropriate professional staff to provide a better understanding the value and the condition of the premises, and any essential work that might be necessary to ensure a safe and compliant building with due attention to environmental concerns. This is an artist led community project and we plan to involve them throughout this process. The ultimate aim of the project is for the community to take ownership of the Picturedrome in one of the Nation's poorest and most diverse wards in order to enable them to develop, showcase, and enjoy their cultural heritage.
