ACHIEVEMENTS • Restored iconic rare shingled spire with ancient structural timber frame, and south nave, & chapel roofs • Reduced carbon footprint: PV panels and more welcoming glass doors • Reredos/Triptych conserved • Scaffolding tours and other activities organised by new P/T Activities and Publicity Coordinator. Attracted new audiences to church heritage (children, young people, local and older residents, tourists) LEGACY • Engaged community and Porlock visitors improving heritage awareness through participative and intergenerational activities, new permanent interpretation, social media • Audiences and partners all feel more comfortable visiting and engaging in the future including St Dubricius First School and their linked Bristol inner city school, ENPA, Stacked Wonky, Friends in Harmony, Abbeyfield residential home, Porlock Museum, Exmoor Glass, Riverside Project • Participate in the EcoChurch programme, encouraging enthusiasm in monitoring wildlife • Four-month traditional woodland skills ENPA placement and an apprenticeship • Developed community engagement, conservation, project management & fundraising skills • New trained, experienced volunteers
