'- Externally repair and internally upgrade 30 St Werburgh Street (building adjoins Cathedral) - Create an accessible entrance - Create a Volunteer Hub, providing an accessible workspace and improved facilities - Promote volunteer opportunities to a wider audience - Test ways to encourage greater diversity, access and inclusion amongst volunteers and staff - Appoint a Community Engagement and Heritage Development Officer to deliver a programme of meanwhile activities - Showcase the Cathedral’s work in relation to heritage skills and conservation techniques - Connect people and communities with past and present heritage - Encourage visitors from different faith, socio economic, age and ethnic backgrounds - Collect, record and share intangible cultural heritage - Create bespoke interpretation and display artifacts The legacy of the project to include: - Reuse of a vacant building - Deeply embedded community links - Permanent interpretation and collections - Increased Cathedral resilience - Permanent employment
