Reaching the Pinnacles - The Holme Heritage Appreciation and Tower Restoration Project

We hope to raise sufficient funds to enable the urgently needed repair and restoration of the Tower of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Holme-next-the-Sea, thereby preserving this Grade 1 listed building and preventing it from falling into disrepair and possible closure. Through the creation of a documentary and static displays of our project we will raise awareness and understanding of our village’s heritage, with the aim of attracting greater numbers of visitors to the Church and the area. The promotion of our project on social media will be specifically aimed at encouraging a younger demographic to become involved in our community, to safeguard our organisational sustainability. The legacy of our project will be the continued use of the Church for regular faith services and community events, as well as the preservation of a building of historic importance for future generations.
