Rekindling St Andrew’s, Kingsbury: continued

The PCC of St Andrew’s Kingsbury is committed to making positive steps towards safeguarding the long-term future of its Grade II* listed church and enabling its removal from the Heritage at Risk Register. This project continues and expands on the work delivered as part of the Heritage Fund supported project, NM-22-00161, over 2022 and 2023, which focussed on ‘Rekindling’ the history and heritage of St Andrew’s amongst its communities, strengthening organisational resilience and preparing for a capital project. This project will likewise facilitate the future repair and conservation of the building’s fabric, strengthen the resilience of the PCC by updating the Business Plan, thereby supporting the development of the organisation and protecting our historic church in the long term by identifying new income streams to underpin sustainability. Other pieces of crucial work, not undertaken during the 2022- 2023 project, will lay the foundations for a major capital repair project.
