Renewed Resilience

The project aims to transform HTNW so our region has a champion to lead the conservation and enhancement of the historic environment. Existing and new partnerships will be refreshed and created, best practice embedded and promoted and the long term sustainable future of HTNW will be secured. The situation was bleak post Covid but has been improving dramatically in the last year. The efforts we have made in this critical area have been rewarded not just with survival but with a return to profit at many of our key sites. This trend will continue but the day to day demands mean insufficient resource is able to be put into further fund raising and tackling important issues such as improved digital accessibility, environmental sustainability and governance improvements. This project will be a step change in all these areas, increasing our financial and management capacity and ability to deliver multiple ambitious projects.
