Historic Buildings
This investigation and development project will enable restoration of the unique, nationally significant 16th century ceilings that were discovered in the church some 5 years ago, having been hidden behind later plain lath and plaster ceilings. The funding would enable the necessary investigation and planning work to bring a more detailed understanding of the work that will be required so that costings can be estimated to support future funding applications. In addition, it will enable us to plan community engagement work so that activity can be built into the future restoration project, ensuring community support and engagement from the start.
A funding award is not a tender, a confirmed supplier budget or evidence that buying is open. Signals distinguish source-mentioned activity from possible supplier categories.
