Historic Buildings
We would like to renovate the stained-glass window that are situated in St Anne's Chapel attached to Shutlanger village hall. We will preserve the heritage and history of our beautiful Victorian stained-glass window dating from 1886. It has sadly fallen into disrepair with broken panes, poor attempts at restoration and damage by vandals. Its restoration would make the hall more appealing for events and community gatherings and we will offer our restored window as a resource to local educational groups such as schools and history organisations. We aim to leave this piece of village heritage in a place where it can be enjoyed by future generations.
