Saving St Botolph's Church

The aims and legacy of our project are : 1.Capital works : To conserve the fabric, history, rich heritage and future of our 12th century church, a Grade 1 listed building. This will impact positively on the church and local communities and on all who visit, improving wellbeing and organisational resilience. We wish to undertake priority Quinquennial works thus improving the external and internal fabric and the safety and structural integrity of the church whilst also improving environmental conditions within. 2.Inclusion : we want a wider range / demographic of people to be involved in and have access to heritage. We intend to address this through various initiatives (outlined later in this application.) 3.Protecting nature : we wish to play our part protecting the wider environment, working to develop awareness and skills with young people on our site of special interest, promoting conservation of natural resources and providing educational resources.
