Our vision is to ensure Dronfield Hall Barn remains available to the public, and a variety of commercial users, to continue fulfilling the vision of our founding trustees to be a Heritage, Arts, Education and Functions centre. Opened in 2015 following a £1.3 million restoration and development project, the Grade II* Barn has continuously fulfilled this vision, which aligns strongly with your own. Visitors and corporate clients are drawn from across Dronfield, Derbyshire, and the wider East Midlands. Visitor and user feedback is consistently positive. Following a difficult post-Covid financial period, our vision is under threat and we face potential closure. Therefore the current Board’s immediate 2025-26 vision is restructuring governance and internal resourcing of staff/volunteers to secure the Barn for future generations. Given the enormous goodwill from visitors, customers, suppliers and Friends towards the Barn, it is imperative that we make DHT sustainable in the long term.
