Historic Buildings
The Mansion is at risk. Unable to conserve and repair the most vulnerable areas suffering decay and loss and with current repairs coming to their end of life; we need a solution. By 2035 we want to see the Mansion thriving, financially stable, with the Chapel conserved, and the roof repaired. To achieve this we need to: •Explore options for the Mansion and create a sustainable plan for the future, informed by a business plan, funding and finance model, visitor, volunteer and community engagement plan. •Understand the potential, limitations and opportunities for the Mansion and Parkland to deliver benefits for people and nature •Understand the skills, capacity, resource and funding required to deliver a major capital project •Update and invest in our existing space for use as a flexible event, training, bookable space that will generate income in the next 12-18 months. Beyond the life of the grant.
