Historic Buildings
We aim to transform the small hall behind the Selsey Pavilion into a dynamic ‘Heritage Hub’—a welcoming space for learning, discovery, and community engagement. By restoring this neglected part of the building, we’ll create classroom-style facilities where local schools, community groups and residents can explore Selsey’s rich cultural heritage. The Heritage Hub will host workshops, talks, exhibitions, and hands-on projects that make heritage accessible and inspiring. Young people will gain skills and connect with local history in creative ways, while older generations will have opportunities to share memories and stories. This project is about more than bricks and mortar—it’s about protecting a vital piece of our past while creating new ways for the community to come together. With the support of the Heritage Fund, we’ll preserve the Pavilion and use it to celebrate the stories that make Selsey unique.
