Sharing Stories: Connecting Trent Park House with Enfield’s Communities

Our project has grown from our work over the past four years to share Trent Park House’s heritage with the residents of the House’s immediately neighbouring boroughs and online. This project will embed the SL story into Enfield primary schools aiming for it to be studied annually; recruit and train local Volunteer Historians, nurturing heritage skills and building a volunteer network for future activity; and create new digital content, increasing access to at-risk heritage and growing online audiences through increased social media activity. We will increase the Trust’s capacity to deliver the project with dedicated project staff, particularly with digital engagement skills; strengthen our heritage expertise; and build our understanding of the House’s known heritage. A new in-school workshop will be created and delivered, supported by digital resources, and our website will be enhanced with engaging new digital content that will involve online visitors more closely with the House’s stories.
