Historic Buildings
The purpose of this project is to ensure the preservation and longevity of the Church of St. Basil and St. Paisios, a Grade II listed building in Lincoln, the home of our Greek Orthodox Church. By commissioning a costed condition report of the building, it will help us understand the full scope of repairs required to the roof, masonry, timber structure and other unknowns and prioritise the most urgent work in a strategic way. We can then use the knowledge of a fundraising consultant to plan how we are going to raise the money to fund the repairs. We also want to use the project to learn more about how we can engage the community with our built and intangible heritage. Our final ambition is to learn more about how The National Lottery Heritage Fund works as this is our first grant.
A funding award is not a tender, a confirmed supplier budget or evidence that buying is open. Signals distinguish source-mentioned activity from possible supplier categories.
