St Illtyd's Church Pembrey. Tower Louvred Opening Repairs

The repair, and protection from the deteriorating effects of adverse weather, the 'bell stage' in particular, but also, other parts of the substantial and prominent medieval tower of St Illtyd's Church Pembrey, a Grade 11* listed building of significant heritage. Also, to ensure the safety of both church members, and the general public who visit the church or churchyard, as well as protecting the church roofs from possible serious damage, by securing the many presently unstable and heavy louvre boards of the windows that are located within the four openings of this stage of the tower. To prevent the possible ultimate collapse of the stone lintels at the west opening, by the provision of additional support.
