Historic Buildings

St Mary & Corpus Christi Re-roofing Project

Our Grade II* listed church is in need of substantial roof repairs to the vestry, organ chamber and chancel roofs. Despite years of regular maintenance and patching, the traditional Cotswold stone tiles are in need of replacement in these areas of the roof. Our last Quinquennial inspection report in 2022 highlighted the work was needed ideally within 12 months. Our aim is to ensure that the structural integrity of this historic building is safeguarded for future generations to prevent further water ingress damage and to act as a catalyst for renewed interest from the wider community.
