St Mary’s Cardigan – Bell Tower Restoration

St Mary’s Church in Cardigan is a much-loved part of our town, and its bells are still rung regularly for services, weddings and community events. However, the fittings and framework now need restoration work to make sure they remain safe and reliable for the future. Through this project, led by the Bro Teifi Ministry Area with support from St Mary’s PCC and local volunteers, we want to secure the long-term future of the bells so they can continue to be heard across Cardigan for generations to come. The project will also help us train and encourage new local ringers — including younger people — so that the skills and tradition of bell ringing are kept alive in our community.
