St Mary the Virgin Roof Repair
The church of St Mary the Virgin, in the village of Syde, Gloucestershire has a history traceable back to 1086. Although the grade 1 listed church has been well cared for throughout its history, parts of the Cotswold stone tiled roof need to be replaced to enable the building to remain watertight and usable by the local community and its visitors now and for the future. Syde is one of the smallest villages in England, with a current resident population of 21, and the size of this project is beyond the means of the local community on its own.
