• Critical QI issues addressed: tower repairs, conservation of chancel murals/Royal Arms; • Reduced carbon footprint with more welcoming glass doors; • Capital works tours and other community-led activities organised by new post attracting audiences new to heritage (schools, youth groups, special interest groups, local and older residents); • Barriers, issues and hopes raised in consultation addressed through activities and capital works; • Partnerships to widen outreach, audiences feel comfortable engaging in the future; • Long-term interest in the environment encouraged by monitoring biodiversity, highlighting endangered species and climate issues through activities including a bioblitz and bat evenings; • Miniguide will highlight built, natural and social stories, artists including Henry Strachey; • Sustainability through constructing a hospitality building, providing kitchenette and accessible toilet, improving our ability to host activities, making provision for disabled access, improving knowledge/skills amongst new volunteers. • Improved skills in community engagement, conservation, project management and fundraising.
