Surrey’s “Heritage for All” Grants Programme
Surrey Cultural Partnership and Community Foundation for Surrey will create a new fund to distribute grants of up to £10,000 to organisations to conserve, share and utilise Surrey’s tangible and intangible heritage, and natural environment, to enrich people’s lives and our community. The grants will all contribute to helping a wider range of people benefit from and engage with heritage, as well as helping preserve our heritage for the future and making organisations that look after heritage more sustainable. We aim to reach and support small organisations who may not have successfully applied for grants before. The fund is being set up as part of the response to Surprising Surrey (SS), the county’s cultural strategy. It is a partnership between Surrey Cultural Partnership (SCP) who commissioned the strategy and Community Foundation for Surrey (CFS) who give over £2m a year in grants to support those most in need in Surrey.
