Sustaining the financial resilience of Lincolnshire’s Heritage

The project will create capacity within our leadership team to develop a strategy for organisational and financial sustainability, aimed at rebuilding our reserves, so that we can overcome the financial challenges we currently face, following the Old King’s Head project. We want to consider different operational models, and we will also review our asset portfolio, including sites we manage for others. We currently own/lease: • Mill Hill Cottage, Little Steeping. • Old School Heckington. • Old King’s Head, Kirton • Pow Cottage, Tattershall • Michaelgate, Lincoln • Holbeach Bunker • Tupholme Abbey We currently manage the following sites for others on contracts: • Hussey Tower. • Bolingbroke Castle. • Tattershall College. Without this project, we face, potentially insurmountable financial challenges, impacting our ability to continue to support heritage projects across greater Lincolnshire. Due to the high-risk financial exposure at the Old King’s Head project, we would appreciate a rapid response.
