The Enterprising Heritage Project will connect new people, young and old, to their physical and community heritage, educating them and allowing them to consider ways in which they can participate and be more engaged in their heritage. The digital skills gained in this project will support young people to develop digital careers in conjunction with Tayside’s Universities and the planned ‘Perth West Eco-Innovation Park’ which will have a focus on digital technology. The project will conclude with a major public exhibition of the products created by the young people with their new skills. This will engage at least 1,000 people. We will also deliver a focused celebration event sharing the learning from the project and engaging local employers and educational institutions to provide training opportunities, apprenticeships and jobs for the young people who have been involved.
