The Restoration and Repair of St Julitta's Historic Windows and Their Associated Heritage.

The Friends of Lanteglos Church (FOLC) plan to restore and repair the historically significant and high quality medieval stained glass and the 500 year old windows of St Julitta's Church. This is the final stage of a major restoration and updating of the building to make it secure and available to everyone. We have discovered an important link between the stained glass of St Julitta's Church and Cardinal John Morton, Archbishop of Canterbury at the end of the 15th century, We aim to make this information widely available to all - but especially children - through a variety of exciting projects including stained glass workshops, art events, film making, visits and other related activities. We aim to enthuse our rather deprived local community through these events and by creating an illustrated free booklet that records the significant historical links with the medieval windows and glass.
